To date, most diversity, inclusion, and racial justice  trainings, conferences, and events tend to lecture people about the past while disregarding the connections to the everyday struggles of real people. People are unclear on how race affects everyone of all walks of life, and how race, class, and gender have intentionally evolved around them. By using popular education and creating an active learning environment, John and Jen engage participants as WHOLE PEOPLE who are grounded in their relationship to space and place.  Their trainings focus people on EMBRACING where they come from, where they live, where they’ve been, how that defines their presence in the Here and Now, and how it all connects to systemic racism.
